The picture below gives an idea of how far the USA is behind one of the worlds leaders in solar power, Germany. It would be so nice to get all those subsidies towards big oil redirected to solar power initiatives. Admittedly this picture is two years old, but the general state of solar power in the USA is the same.
This is amazing, yet the fossil fuels companies are making way too much money to let this happens. Let's just cross fingers and hope for changes!
